Position Summary & Objective
The Office Administrator will perform administrative duties related to Operations, Human
Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, Purchasing, Field Services, Sales, and Engineering
functions. This position will partner closely with business leaders and team members to
champion a positive culture and seek opportunities to create a positive impact on the
organization.
Essential Functions Performed by the Position
Act as first point of contact for visitors, customers and other team members as they enter
the facility.
Answer phones and direct to appropriate parties.
General office responsibilities including scanning, printing, faxing, and emailing of
information. Responsible for receiving and distributing mail, including visiting the post
office.
Schedule and organize appointments; takes minutes during meetings as needed.
Processes required paperwork for employees and may assist with other related
employment matters including maintaining organizational charts, benefits paperwork,
service awards, etc.
Participate in onboarding and employee engagement activities to attract and retain high
performing employees.
Assist with maintaining company apparel program, uniform program, safety shoes, safety
eyeglasses, and toolbox ordering.
Complete data entry and assists with report preparation.
Assist in Operational Scheduling
Assist with administration of scheduling meetings/interviews, travel arrangements,
flights, and hotels. May include ordering and picking up food for meetings or company
events.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Clearly communicates in-person and over the phone and demonstrates the ability to
effectively present information to internal and external customers.
Professional skills including the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong computer skills preferred, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, and
ERP systems.
Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and thoroughly in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; two-year degree preferred.
Experience in an office environment supporting cross functional teams and associated
processes.
Environment and Working Conditions
Office environment and shop environment.
Travel Requirements (percent)
Up to 10%
