We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess a strong understanding of various production processes. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring quality control, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production line.
Duties
- Operate and monitor production equipment.
- Lifts materials manually or using forklift to secure in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.
- Forklift inspection before every shift.
- Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.
- Inspects and sizes products to verify conformance to specifications.
- Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
- Replaces worn machine accessories, using hand tools.
- Tends machine and equipment other than crushing/grinding equipment.
- Must be able to manually load 50 lbs. onto pallets.
- Record and keep accurate records for all production at end of each shift (production report- detailing the day)
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certified is preferred or willingly to be trained.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of dependable and punctual attendance.
