Operations Manager (Nashville)

Primeritus Financial Services is a national provider of repossession management, remarketing, titled, and skip tracing services to the automotive finance industry in the United States and Puerto Rico.  Primeritus provides clients with value-added, outsourced repossession management, skip tracing investigations, and remarketing services by leveraging a national network of certified agents and unique investigative techniques to quickly and reliably secure customers’ collateral.  Through effective leadership, service, and performance, Primeritus Financial Services offers the trifecta of repossession services: locate, recover, and remarket.   

The operations manager provides oversight and leadership of the daily performance of direct team members. This role will evaluate the team’s performance in meeting client needs, making recommendations on how to improve productivity and efficiency, and ensure team members are delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding set goals. The Operations Manager will ensure their team provides a high level of customer service through coaching, training, and continuous improvement programs.  This is an in-office, in-person position working in our Nashville, TN location.

  • Supervises and develops staff through coaching, training and performance management.  
  • Manages client relations at operational level, ensuring client satisfaction and continued growth.  
  • Assists in on-site client visits/audits as needed.  
  • Manages and prioritizes large volumes of information; manages internal and external requests for information. 
  • Improves upon a team environment with company goals and expectations.  
  • Conducts interviews and participate in the candidate selection process, providing recommendations to management concerning staff and improvement of procedures.  
  • Oversees performance management with staff through Action Plans and Coach and Counsels. 
  • Provides guidance to line of business management to ensure compliance with all prescribed internal policies and regulatory practices. 

Job Requirements 

  • HS Diploma is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.  
  • 3-5+ years experience in vendor management with 3+ years experience in managing vendor performance.  
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with a professional demeanor and presentation.   
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and possess strong analytical, administrative, organizational, and time management skills.  
  • Must be proficient in the use of office equipment with intermediate MS Office Suite skills.  
  • Knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations pertaining to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Gramm-Leach – Bliley Act (GLBA) is preferred. 
  • The position is sedentary and requires sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer or using other office equipment.  The employee must occasionally lift or move items up to 30+ pounds.
