Job Summary:
The Marketing Channel Analyst is responsible for executing and overseeing all activities related to the procurement of visibility materials and promotional items across the entire value chain. This includes ensuring that these materials align with the master plan of initiatives set by the Channel Marketing Management. The primary goal of the role is to strengthen the presence of Empresas Polar’s brands at every consumer touchpoint, driving brand visibility and supporting sales across all consumption occasions. By effectively managing materials and working closely with internal teams and external agencies, the analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing brand engagement and ensuring flawless execution of marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor the placement of visibility and promotional materials, ensuring that all orders meet the agreed-upon conditions and deadlines for proper follow-up by the Purchasing Analysts.
- Develop and implement merchandising initiatives tailored to consumer and buyer needs, enhancing brand visibility and supporting sales objectives through strategic in-store and out-of-shelf visibility tools, design, and planning.
- Ensure smooth communication with the promotional services agency, managing the flow of information and ensuring all promotional agreements are tracked and executed efficiently.
- Generate and analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of promotional initiatives, calculating base and incremental volumes, break-even points, and profitability to assess the success of each activity.
- Coordinate the creation, approval, and execution of marketing materials, working closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and flawless implementation at points of sale.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of effective experience within Empresas Polar, or similar positions of comparable nature and complexity in other organizations.
- Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze information related to moderately complex problems within their discipline.
- Ability to conduct diagnostics with support from specialized personnel, identifying patterns and/or differences that uncover flaws in work processes, and determining appropriate courses of action.
Capable of working under the guidance of a supervisor to develop solutions to improve work processes and
