Associate Robotics Product Manager (Charlotte)

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assisting the product manager in product planning, testing, and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and defining the product vision. Includes working with sales, marketing, Training, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Associate Product Manager’s job also includes physical product testing to validate performance and specs. APM will also be responsible for managing the product database.
 
Essential Functions:

  • Benchmarking competitive products; compiling and updating features and program comparisons, selling price, and placement.
  • Product testing and claim testing and validation.
  • Work with the quality manager to develop standardized reporting across channels and customers.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for specific product and/or program development.
  • Manage CRM product database.
  • Liaison with planning, sales, marketing, and logistics. 
  • Work with product managers overseeing product training for customers, sales and marketing, advertising, and PR teams.
  • Assist in the development of sales presentations, promotions, line reviews, trade/dealer shows, and marketing events, etc.
  • Become proficient in multiple product categories.
  • Track profit margins, forecasts, sales trends, inventory levels, and product life cycles.
  • Project management of key account private label projects.
  • Work with HQ BU partners on project timelines and product definitions. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience
  • 1-2 years of marketing, retail, product development, or CPG environment.
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills.
  • PowerPoint and Excel experience necessary. 
  • Project management experience is a plus.
