Full job description

Job Summary
Waller Design is searching for a General Labor Hand who will be dedicated, passionate, and energetic while working on the biggest projects in the country. The labor hand will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations, maintaining site cleanliness, ensuring safety compliance, and carrying out manual labor tasks as directed by the site manager(s) and project manager(s).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager(s) in movements and tasks around the site.
• Complete delegated tasks provided by Site Manager(s) and Site Coordinator(s)
• Facilitate cleaning up around the site to ensure safe movements for all departments.
• Assist the Site Manager(s) with key projects specific to zone
• Managing and coordinating tasks to be completed by vendors and ensuring they are completed on time and correctly.
• Move and arrange furniture, fixtures and equipment throughout the project site.
• Operating heavy equipment and all-terrain vehicles in a safe and secure manner
• Build and maintain all site infrastructure material. This includes fence, power, flooring. turf, restrooms, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is a plus.
• Forklift & Boom lift Certified preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required.
• The ability to lift heavy objects, perform physically demanding tasks, and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to always follow safety guidelines.
• Professionalism when being on site.
• Ability to show up early and on time.
• Ability to work under high pressure situations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work long hours and holidays.
• Exceptional ability to communicate.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $170.20 – $260.00 per day

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
