As a special agent, you will work alongside men and women of the highest caliber, performing critical protective and investigative assignments. During their careers, special agents may be assigned to multiple duty stations throughout the United States and abroad with responsibilities that include:
- Protecting various protectees
- Conducting criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States
- Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.

Recruiting for the following field offices only: – Atlanta Field Office – Chicago Field Office – Houston Field Office – Los Angeles Field Office – New York Field Office – Washington Field Office You are not guaranteed your preferred post of duty. Your initial post of duty will be determined at the time of the final job offer and will be based on the operational needs of the US Secret Service. You must reside within a 50-mile radius of desired location upon graduation of training.
