
M3 Charlotte is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Position Summary: This position will perform structural design, analysis and detailing for various
industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and other structures as assigned.
Basic Duties:
• Provide input for departmental and project reports.
• Coordinate drafting structural designs utilizing AutoCAD, Revit and other software,
• Prepare materials to establish project cost estimates, check structural calculations and
drawings completed by others
• Provide management and coordination for projects.
• Independtly perform structural design of assigned structures and prepare direct completion
of required project deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years’ relative engineering experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structures.
• PE and/or SE required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, RISA 3D, and MS Office.
• Candidate must be able to travel to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field
support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter,
detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful
manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited
supervision.
• Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
• Specify and design structural steel and foundations for industrial projects.
• A minimum of 5 years related engineering experience.
• To mentor, instruct and direct the project work or junior engineers.
